George Washington University Installs ReadyCam On-site Studio

August 2013, NEWTON, MA – Professors at The George Washington University (GW) are now available for live television interviews from their ReadyCam® studio. The on-site studio, which was installed on GW’s campus in Washington, D.C.,last week, allows their faculty to connect with media conveniently and easily, without leaving the University. In fact, Frank Cilluffo, director of the Homeland Security Policy Institute at George Washington University, appeared live on CBC News only hours after the install was complete.

“When it came time to upgrade our studio, we looked at several options and ReadyCam provided the most reliable and simplest solution to connect television and radio networks with our experts,” said Candace Smith, executive director of media relations at the George Washington University.  “We also can use the studio for taped interviews, media training and webinars.”   

The ReadyCam® system uses Enhanced IP™ technology to transmit broadcast quality HD video over the Internet to anywhere around the world.
