Saudi and American Artists to Explore Cross-Cultural Collaborations During Corcoran Symposium

GW Corcoran School of the Arts and Design to Host a Day of Panel Discussions Examining Collective Arts Projects

The Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at the George Washington University will host “Wisal: A Symposium on Cross-Cultural Collaboration,” a one-day event examining the concept of collaboration and how it exists in cultural practice in Saudi Arabia and beyond. 
The day will feature panel discussions with artists and educators that look at the transformative ways art and creativity can spur cross-cultural understanding and effect meaningful change in communities. The symposium is co-sponsored by King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra).
