UK Leaving European Union: GW Experts Available

Great Britain will leave the European Union after Thursday’s vote. Experts from the George Washington University can discuss the effects of the "Brexit" and how the result came to be.

Ambassador Reuben E. Brigety II is the dean of the Elliott School of International Affairs. He most recently served as the appointed representative of the United States of America to the African Union. He can comment on the mechanics and impacts of international organizations like the European Union. He is also an expert on refugees and how Europe is managing the recent influx.

Scheherazade Rehman, professor of international business/finance and international affairs, is an expert on financial markets and the European Union. She can discuss the impact of the U.K.’s vote to leave the European Union.
