Media Tip Sheet: Biden Leads Trump by Four Points Among Likely Voters in Latest Poll

A new poll reveals that President Biden holds a four-percentage-point lead over former President Trump among likely voters in a head-to-head matchup. However, among all adults and registered voters, Biden and Trump are nearly tied, with Trump narrowly leading among all adults and Biden gaining support among registered voters. 

The poll also indicates that Trump's hush money case could impact his support among his own base, while more Americans trust Trump to handle the economy and inflation compared to Biden.

Danny Hayes, professor of political science, is an expert on campaigns and elections who can discuss the current election landscape and provide insights and analysis on current campaign strategies.
