EVENT:

Artificial intelligence (AI) is at the heart of almost everything we do today and the developing technology is accelerating at rapid speeds. From healthcare to housing, cybersecurity to social media, AI is posing new questions in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Questions like, what mechanisms and frameworks should we use to prepare for the future? How should these innovations materialize in markets around the globe? What safe and ethical practices could government and business leaders follow when integrating AI into their operations?

It’s these questions that will drive discussions at the second annual GW Business & Policy Forum: Imagining the Future with AI on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the George Washington University.

Panel topics include the future with AI in healthcare, AI empowering the public sector, emerging AI policy issues with housing and financial services, AI at the intersection of cybersecurity and trustworthy AI.

David Rubenstein, Co-founder and Co-chairman of The Carlyle Group, will be delivering the opening keynote address and Jeremy Wacksman, Chief Operating Officer of the Zillow Group, will be delivering the closing keynote address.

Additional speakers include: Joel Minton, CTO, Google Public Sector; Mark Newsome, VP and Managing Client Partner, Veterans Affairs & Military Health, IBM; Michael Akinwumi, Chief Responsible AI Officer, National Fair Housing Alliance; Kristie Grinnell, SVP & CIO, DXC Technology; and, Tiffany Moore, SVP of Political and Industry Affairs, Consumer Technology Association, among many others.
