EVENT:
Daniel C. Kurtzer, a former U.S. ambassador to both Israel and Egypt, will speak at the George Washington University. Dr. Kurtzer, the S.Daniel Abraham Professor of Middle East policy studies at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, will discuss the Middle East peace process, touching on the Trump administrations decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel and its approach to peace negotiations.
 
The event, “The Ultimate Deal or the End of the Line? The Trump Administration and the Middle East Peace Process,” is cosponsored by the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences' Judaic Studies Program and the Elliott School of International Affairs' Middle East Policy Forum. It serves as the inaugural Max Ticktin Lecture in Israel Studies.
