On Wednesday, The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) opened an investigation into OpenAI, the artificial intelligence start-up behind ChatGPT, over whether the chatbot has harmed consumers through its collection of data and its publication of false information on individuals.
Dr. Ryan Watkins, GW professor and Director of GW’s Educational Technology Leadership Program, is an expert on ChatGPT and available for interviews.
