GW Experts Available to Discuss Nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court

WASHINGTON (Feb. 25, 2022) — President Biden has made his choice to fill the Supreme Court vacancy left by the retirement of Justice Stephen Breyer. D.C. Circuit Court Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is slated to make history as the first Black woman to sit on the Supreme Court of the United States. Despite the historic nature of Judge Jackson’s nomination, the confirmation process in the evenly-split Senate could be bumpy and may create a ripple effect heading into the 2022 midterm elections.
