COVID Vaccine Mandate

WASHINGTON (Jan. 7, 2022)—Today the Supreme Court heard oral arguments to two sets of challenges to the Biden administration’s authority to impose vaccine mandates. In the National Federation of Independent Business v. Department of Labor, the justices will decide the Biden administration’s authority to impose a vaccine-or-test mandate for workers at large employers. In Biden v. Missouri the Justices will consider whether Biden can authorize a vaccine mandate for health care workers at facilities that receive federal funding.

George Washington University has experts available to discuss various aspects of the vaccine mandates.
