WASHINGTON (May 29, 2025)- American and European populists, nationalists, and conservatives met today in Hungary for the Conservative Political Action Conference(CPAC).
United States Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, and other international leaders gathered to praise Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and U.S. President Donald Trump while planning more CPAC gatherings globally.
CPAC President Matt Schlapp told NPR, “You could see the fact that people felt dissatisfied with both parties, but certainly were very dissatisfied with the fact that the Democratic Party moved so far to the left. This has changed American politics even when Donald Trump is no longer a candidate.”
