WASHINGTON (January 20, 2025) – The 2026 Winter Olympics will take place from February 6 to 22 in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
Lisa Delpy Neirotti will be leading 28 students to Milan Feb 5-17 where they will be volunteering for the Milan Cortina Olympic organizing committee as well as conducting research on spectator motivation, behavior, and satisfaction.
Professor Neirotti has studied the business and ethics of global sport for more than 30 years, consulting with major events including the Olympics and World Cup. She also directs the GW Green Sports Scorecard and serves on the faculty of the International Olympic Committee’s executive master’s program.
