April is autism awareness month and just this week, the CDC issued a new report showing an increase in autism among school-aged children.
The report shows a rise in autism over the past two decades according to medical records from 2022 for children ages 4 to 8 across 14 states.
Among 8-year-old’s, the CDC found that one in 31 children were diagnosed with autism.
