Media Tip Sheet: Cyclospora Outbreak Sickens Thousands

As thousands of people across multiple states become ill from a growing cyclospora outbreak, experts are reminding the public that one of summer's healthiest habits—eating fresh produce—also requires extra attention to food safety.

Lettuce and salad greens are among the suspected sources.
