WASHINGTON (October 2, 2023)—Special Counsel Jack Smith asked U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan for a partial gag order on Former President Donald Trump. The order was requested after Trump’s remarks towards Milley and others thought to “intimidate potential witnesses”. According to The Hill, Smith requested a limited gag order for “well-defined restrictions” on what Trump is allowed to speak about in regards to his legal case.
