WASHINGTON (March 31, 2025) - Marine Le Pen, French far-right leader, was convicted of embezzlement by a criminal court in Paris on Monday. Le Pen was polling as the front-runner for the 2027 Presidential election, but now is immediately barred from running for public office for five years.
