WASHINGTON (February 22, 2024) – More than 570 files were leaked from a private Chinese hacking firm last week. The files, images, and chat logs contain seemingly credible contracts to extradite foreign data from various countries. According to the New York Times, the Chinese government has turned to private hacking companies to hack and obtain information from foreign governments and to create campaigns to control its domestic population.
