WASHINGTON(October 4, 2023)— House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was ousted in a historical move in Congress on Tuesday, October 3rd. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) filed for resolution on Monday, and Democrats did not provide enough votes to keep McCarthy sitting.
