WASHINGTON (January 7, 2025) – On Friday, the Supreme Court may rule on the legality of President Trump’s global tariffs. Arguments from November 5 indicate the court is skeptical of Trump's authority to impose tariffs under a 1977 law that gives the president special powers during emergency situations.
