Media Tip Sheet: Men’s Health Month

June 1, 2026

June is recognized as Men’s Health month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of men’s health and well-being.

The month also encourages men to focus on screenings and preventive care especially when it comes to lung and prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in men, while lung cancer is a leading cause of cancer deaths in men.
