Media Tip Sheet: Mifepristone Heading to Court of Appeals

WASHINGTON(August 22, 2023)- Mifepristone, a key abortion drug, and its limits and uses are set to be argued in 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and likely to be picked up by the Supreme Court. The FDA currently allows the drug to be taken until 10 weeks into pregnancy, be mailed directly to patients and prescribed by a non-doctor medical professionals.
