Media Tip Sheet: MLB 2025 average salary breaks record, AP study finds

WASHINGTON (April 3, 2025)- Major League Baseball enjoyed its 2025 opening day last week, and with it, a new record for the league’s average salaries. An Associated Press study found that the average salary for MLB is $5 million for the first time.
