WASHINGTON (April 7, 2025)- CNN reported that “Tax return filings drop by nearly 1 million and extension requests rise as deadline nears.” American taxpayers have until April 15 to file their state and federal taxes, however as the IRS fields staff downsizing and current US market volatility, taxpayers field possible concerns on revenue collection.
