WASHINGTON (October 6, 2025) – The Supreme Court is beginning a new term this week and justices are set to weigh cases that could dramatically expand, or limit, presidential authority, reshape civil rights protections, and alter the balance between federal and state power.
Legal experts are paying close attention as the Court takes up disputes over executive power, gender and education, and voting rights.
