According to the Associated Press, most American adults make New Year’s resolutions to live a healthier lifestyle or improve their financial well-being.

The new year is a great time to make new commitments, but studies have shown nearly 70% of people’s New Year’s resolutions only last a few months.

Lorenzo Norris, is an associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and chief wellness officer at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
