WASHINGTON(August 16, 2023)—On Monday, former Tennessee state senator, Brian Kelsey, was sentenced to nearly two years in prison. Kelsey pleaded guilty in March for violating campaign finance law while running for congress. Due to the sentencing, Kelsey can no longer run for state office.
