WASHINGTON- U.S. stocks fell again on Monday as the president doubled down on a sweeping tariff plan, and as mixed signals brought major market reversals.
The president on Monday also threatened to impose a 50% tariff on China unless the country withdraws 34% retaliatory tariffs announced last weekend. In a post on Truth Social, he accused China of gaining an unfair trade advantage by subsidizing its companies and manipulating currency.
