Democratic voters delivered mixed results, with progressives winning in Minnesota while moderate David Crowley defeated democratic socialist Francesca Hong in Wisconsin. The results also underscore growing generational tensions among Democrats, as several older incumbents have lost primaries to younger challengers. Meanwhile, President Trump’s influence among Republican voters is being tested, with some of his endorsed candidates winning while others, including Mike Lindell in Minnesota, suffered defeats.
