WASHINGTON--A federal judge said Tuesday that The White House’s decision to punish The Associated Press by removing its access to the president’s events, the Oval Office and Air Force One is unconstitutional, dealing a blow to the administration’s efforts to restrict the outlet’s access to the president based on their news coverage.
The preliminary injunction was issued Tuesday afternoon against the White House by Judge Trevor McFadden, a first-term Trump appointee.
