NATO Secretary General to Speak at GW on Alliance’s Role in the World

EVENT:
NATO’s highest-ranking civilian, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, will speak about the international organization’s role in the world at an event at the George Washington University. Stoltenberg will join former U.S. permanent representative to NATO Kurt Volker to discuss “NATO in an Age of Uncertainty.”
 
Mr. Stoltenberg served twice as the prime minister of Norway. He also served in the Norwegian government as minister of industry and energy and as minister of finance. He was also previously a member of parliament.
 
The event is part of the GW Elliott School of International Affairs’ “Leadership in International Affairs: Lessons Learned” series. Amb. Volker is an alumnus of the Elliott School.
