EVENT:
The George Washington University will host business leaders and experts in sustainability and storytelling for the 2017 Planet Forward Summit. The annual gathering will explore new and old approaches to science communication, from the rich traditions of Native American storytelling to a new world of virtual reality.
The event will bring together top corporate executives and scientists with innovators, policymakers, journalists and students from across the world. Speakers include corporate executives, fellows from the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, a Stanford virtual reality expert and a distinguished professor in native peoples and the environment.
The summit will spotlight breakthroughs in sustainability, virtual reality, corporate responsibility, and discuss how these factors affect food, water, energy, mobility, built environment and biodiversity to drive the planet forward – today, and in the distant future.
