WASHINGTON (January 13, 2025)-- This week the United States Senate will hold hearings for President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet for his second term as president.

The hearings will kick off tomorrow with Doug Collins (Department of Veterans Affairs), Pete Hegseth (Department of Defense), and Doug Burgum (Interior Department). More hearings are scheduled throughout Wednesday and Thursday of this week with eight choices that have hearings yet to be  scheduled.

NBC News reported that the Senate is bracing for “train wreck” during the hearings with some controversial selections.
