Media Tip Sheet: Supreme Court Allows Continuation of Federal Layoffs

WASHINGTON (July 10, 2025) – The Supreme Court allowed on Tuesday to continue the layoffs of government workers for 19 federal agencies and departments including the State Department and the Social Security Administration. The decision has caused uncertainty for some federal employees.
