WASHINGTON (July 17, 2025) – The Senate approved a bill Thursday that would cut $9 billion in foreign aid and public broadcasting funding, including support for the U.S. Agency for International Development, global health programs, peacekeeping efforts, PBS, and NPR. The bill is now waiting to be voted on by the House by Friday.
