Media Tip Sheet: Childhood Vaccination Exemption Rates Hit Record High

According to the CDC, more children are being exempted from receiving their recommended childhood vaccinations.

Nearly 138,000 kindergartens had a vaccine exemption during the 2024-2025 school year.

Most of the exemptions were listed as nonmedical.
