WASHINGTON (December 2, 2025) – The draw for FIFA World Cup 2026 will be held this Friday, December 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM ET at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

Scott Rezendez, adjunct professor at the George Washington University, Rezendez is one of the only professors teaching a master’s course of Management of Global Soccer in the United States. Rezendez is also the CEO of The Soccer Syndicate. He is an expert in the business of soccer, challenges and benefits the sport has in the United States as well as sporting and competition.
Lisa Delpy Neirotti, director of the MS in Sport Management Program and an associate professor of sport management, works with a number of sport event organizations, sponsors, and professional teams to conduct economic and market research studies including the Olympic Games, World Cup, Citi Bank Tennis Tournament, College Football Bowl Games, among others. World Cup 26 will be her 7th tournament as a researcher, consultant, or volunteer. She also served as a host committee member of the 1994 Washington, DC host committee.
