The FDA’s recent authorization of two fruit-flavored vaping products — including mango and blueberry-flavored pods made by Glas — is drawing sharp criticism warning the decision could undermine years of progress in reducing youth vaping.
While the agency says the products are intended only for adults 21 and older and are part of a broader harm-reduction strategy for smokers, health experts argue that fruit flavors remain one of the biggest drivers of youth nicotine initiation and addiction.
