The George Washington University will host the D.C. premiere of GROUNDSWELL, a Golden Globe-winning documentary exploring the global regenerative movement and efforts to reshape humanity’s relationship with the Earth.
Narrated by Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson, GROUNDSWELL follows farmers, ranchers, scientists, changemakers, and Indigenous leaders who are using regenerative agriculture practices to restore ecosystems and build a more sustainable future.
Following the screening, attendees will hear from leaders in sustainability, conservation, agriculture, and filmmaking during a panel conversation moderated by Frank Sesno, founding director of Planet Forward and the GW Alliance for a Sustainable Future.
The event is presented by the DC Environmental Film Festival and GW’s Alliance for a Sustainable Future, Global Food Institute, Planet Forward, and School of Media and Public Affairs.
