Siler is a seasoned advisor with over a decade of experience helping senior executive officials better fulfill business and mission goals by developing strategic and tactical objectives in response to emerging political, economic, and technological trends. An award winning researcher, Scott’s work has ranged from writing and presenting technical papers with NASA staff to publishing articles in leading Harvard policy journals to helping Meghan O’Sullivan, former deputy national security director for Iraq and Afghanistan, write a book on U.S. energy and foreign policy. His expertise includes geopolitical & country risk and transnational issues.

Tara Sinclair, associate professor of economics and international affairs, is an expert on jobs and employment, macroeconomics and econometrics. Sinclair's research interests focus on modeling, explaining and forecasting business cycle fluctuations and economic growth for different countries.

GW's Jungho Suh

Jungho Suh

Jungho Suh, a teaching assistant professor of management, is an expert in the service and travel sector, especially as it relates to organizational management and human resources, as well as in entrepreneurship. He has studied diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), cross-cultural issues, and digital platforms in the service industry and can also discuss topics about sustainability and ESG reporting in the travel industry.

Joann Weiner

Joann Weiner, director of the GW Master of Arts in Applied Economics, specializes in economic policy, public economics, tax policy and applied microeconomics. Her research explores how companies choose to replace workers with machines; how consumer theory applies in real world situations, such as surge pricing in the ride-sharing economy; and how game theory and behavioral economics may help explain the causes and consequences of the recent financial crisis in Greece.

William E. Kovacic

William E. Kovacic, a professor of law, was a member of the Federal Trade Commission and chaired the agency from March 2008 to March 2009. He is an expert on antitrust, consumer protection, government contracts and the design of regulatory institutions.
