WASHINGTON (November 3, 2023)—The United States Supreme Court will hear oral arguments next Tuesday, November 7th in the case U.S. v Rahimi. According to scotusblog, this case discusses “Whether 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(8), which prohibits the possession of firearms by persons subject to domestic-violence restraining orders, violates the Second Amendment on its face.” BBC claims the United States has recorded over 560 mass shootings in the US so far in 2023.
