WASHINGTON(January 31, 2024) – Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is convicted of corruption and sentenced to 14 years. The Associated Press goes on to explain, “yet another blow to the imprisoned populist leader days before his political movement attempts a return to power in parliamentary elections.”
