BACKGROUND:
‘Absence/Presence’ uses photographs of places, such as an abandoned bowling alley, a prison cell and an empty desk, to explore how people impact the interiors and spaces they occupy. The exhibition includes photography from Nancy Breslin, William Christenberry, Frank Gohlke, Dean Kessmann, Dan Lobdell and Katherine Sifers. The Francine Zorn Trachtenberg Photography Fund and the Friends of the Luther W. Brady Art Gallery provided partial funding for the exhibition.
