EVENT:

The George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs (SMPA) is hosting a discussion with U.S. Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Robert M. Califf on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 6pm.

Moderated by SMPA Director Peter Loge, the conversation will focus on the challenges posed by online misinformation and disinformation about public health, promoting effective science communication, and increasing trust in public institutions. They will also be joined by a GW SMPA student who will share their perspective on consuming, sharing and creating online content about public health, science and public institutions.
