WASHINGTON (September 3, 2025) –On Tuesday, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released over 30,000 pages of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
This release comes after bipartisan calls for more transparency in the case. Representative Robert Garcia of California, said in a statement to The New York Times that “97 percent of the documents published on Tuesday had been previously released, and he accused Republicans of trying to “give cover” to Mr. Trump by feigning transparency.”
