Negotiations are continuing today between the actors' union SAG-AFTRA and Hollywood studios, after the union said there are still a number of items they’re not in agreement on. Hollywood and TV studios gave their “best and final offer” on Saturday, but key points like the use of AI remain unresolved, BBC News reported. The striking actors have been off the job since mid-July.

Faculty experts at the George Washington University are available to offer insight, analysis and commentary on the actors’ strike. If you would like to speak with an expert, please contact GW Senior Media Relations Specialist Cate Douglass at [email protected].
