WASHINGTON(November 1, 2023)— North Korea is closing embassies around the world. According to NBC News the move is “one of the country’s biggest foreign policy shakeups in decades”. The country is set to close as many as a dozen embassies including Spain, Hong Kong and many African countries. The proposed closings are causing speculation that the country is struggling to make money overseas due to international sanctions.
