WASHINGTON (November 1, 2023)—California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) and its state legislature created a “state law that eliminated religious exemptions for school-mandated vaccines” in attempt to add the COVID-19 vaccine to the list of required vaccinations for school children. The law is receiving backlash from conversative parents who have created a federal lawsuit and are backed by Advocated for Faith and Freedom.
