Media Tip Sheet: U.K. Could Recognize Palestinian State by September

WASHINGTON (July 30, 2025)- The United Kingdom announced Tuesday they would recognize a Palestinian state by September if a ceasefire is not reached between Israel and Hamas.

The UK joined France after their announcement last week, according to The New York Times. The shift comes after mounting pressure on Israel to deliver more aid into Gaza.
