Wednesday evening a second attempt to expel Rep. George Santos from the House falls flat. New York Republicans led the charge in an attempt to remove Rep. Santos due to false public statements and an ongoing federal criminal case. House members across both parties were wary of the move in fear of setting a precedent of expelling members who have not yet been convicted of a crime.
